USAV Age Definitions

18 & Under (18U)

Born on or after July 1, 2008, or high school student in 12th grade or below.

17 & Under (17U)

Born on or after July 1, 2009.

Go

16 & Under (16U)

Born on or after July 1, 2010.

Go

15 & Under (15U)

Born on or after July 1, 2011.

Go

14 & Under (14U)

Born on or after July 1, 2012.

Go

13 & Under (13U)

Born on or after July 1, 2013.

12 & Under (12U)

Born on or after July 1, 2014.

11 & Under (11U)

Born on or after July 1, 2015.

Example Eligibility Scenario

A player born on July 1, 2012 qualifies for the 14U National, American, and Regional teams based on date of birth.
 

Because the athlete is currently in 7th grade, they may also qualify for specific 13U Regional division teams.
